Fitting Type

Recess - Choose this option when fitting your blind inside a window recess.

What we will do is reduce the width measurement you enter by 1cm/10mm. This means the blind will fit perfectly inside the recess without risk of scaping the walls on either side.

Exact - Choose this option when fitting your blind outside a window area.

If you select exact measurements we will make your blind to the exact width you have given to us.

Headrail Type

Classic - the classic roman system is our best value for money headrail. Simple but effective, the fabric is connected to the headrail with a strip of Velcro and conceals the slimline headrail.

Cassette - the easy-fit cassette conceals the roman blind mechanism and looks particularly striking in a recess. The cassette is covered with the blind fabric to give an attractive finish.

Motorised Cassette - motorise your blind with Cheap Blinds powered by Motionblinds motors. Available as wireless or wired, you can control the motor via the app, remote or chain pull. Add a Motion Hub to control via Smart Speakers.

Cassette Finish

Matching blind fabric – Cassette will be covered in the same fabric as thechosen blind fabric. If the fabric is a patterned design, the blind and the cassette pattern will match for a seamless finish.

Metal Finish – Available in white, silver and anthracite a metal finish cassette creates a modern metallic finish to match windows and door frames.

Chain Colour

Choose the colour you would like the control chain to be. This is the chain that operates the blind. Available in plastic white, plastic black, metal brass or metal nickel.

Lining

Roman blind lining is a backing fabric that is sewn into the back of your chosen decorative fabric. Lining is important to help with your preferred light filtering option. It also helps with heat retention and protects the decorative fabric from fading, giving it a longer life span.

Available in 4 options: Polycotton, Satin, Blackout and Bonded Blackout.

POLYCOTTON : This warming ivory-white lining combines the lightweight durability of polyester linings with the style and elegance of cotton to create an efficient and stylish shading solution for your drapes.

SATIN : This elegant satin lining in warm ivory-white hue is ideal for adding a soft and lightweight feel to your drapes that also helps to provide additional shade.

BLACKOUT : For a powerful blackout solution this blend of polyester and cotton in an ivory hue provides an off-white and structured lining for your drapes for shading your rooms.

BONDED BLACKOUT : This heavy lining solution with a warm ivory hue is ideal for adding a firm and powerful blackout solution to your roman blinds with enhanced thermal properties.

Control Option

No Remote: Our motors come with a pull chain and a Bluetooth app to control your blinds without the need for a remote.

Single Channel Remote: A single channel remote is capable of handling one blind. It is an added layer of convenience on top of the Bluetooth app and our pull chain.

Five Channel Remote: Control up to 5 blinds simultaneously or individually allowing complete light flexibility within your home.

Control Side

Select control side – This is the side the chain will be on that operates the blind.

Stacking Style

Cascade – When the blind is open the cascade stacking style will show each fold of the roman blind. This gives a waterfall effect.

Stacked – When the blind open the stacked stacking style will hide all folds behind the first fold of the roman blind.

Hub

NO WIFI HUB: A wifi hub is not essential due to the Bluetooth technology already within our motors however there are added benefits to having a wifi hub.

WIFI HUB: A wifi hub allows you to control your blinds from anywhere in the world and can be connected to Alexa & Google to operate your blinds with voice control!
